punkin's doing fine this morning! last night we were going to be gone at the time of his second dinner, so i gave him that amount with his regular dinner. 1.5 cans of fancy feast in one sitting - he took that so seriously! after he'd been eating for a while i went over and petted & talked to him, he didn't even look up. i'd hoped it would be enough that he would leave some for later, but i suspect not.

my quilting group is having a project marathon weekend so i'm heading out there. have a great saturday, everyone!

Glad to see that punkin' did fine with his beans having a Friday night out! punkin's numbers are looking so very good! :-D

Punkin and Morgaine have a lot in common although I am not sure she would eat 1.5 cans in one sitting. she might take a break, drink a little water, and then finish it off. Glad he continues to do well.

He wants it like that every meal now!!! Keep coming on down there PUnkin!!

Have fun today!!!

ETA: Christie just put on Frankie's condo that Terumo is now making a U100, 3/10cc, 31g, 3/8" syringe with half unit markings. I love Terumo for squids and I know you use their insulin syringes. Do you love them and are they pretty accurate from syringe to syringe? I've been using MJs and I do like them but I have to check every single syringe to make sure the "0" mark is lined up the same with the plunger and I have found several that are not. The way Gracie reacts to even one drop, I won't use a syringe where the plunger is not lined up consistently. Would love your thoughts on the Terumo syringes before I order.

Sounds like fun with the quilting ladies. I laughed when I thought of Punkin saving some food for later    Gus would hoover the whole pile, too!

Binks takes NO breaks either...
he's there until it's gone, then pestering me for the next mini-meal

Champ thinks it's terribly unfair that Punkin can eat that much food in one cycle and not gain weight. When Champ ate FF, he got about 2.5 oz each cycle, less than one can, and never lost any of his 18.5 pounds!!!

Punkin's numbers are looking spectacular!!!! I've missed you and Punkin terribly!!! I did make it over to FB, though, and loved the video of your daddy singing. Great voice!!! Hope you're doing well.

i miss my dad like crazy! the videos of him singing make me weepy . . . but he was very patriotic and i wanted to post the video of him singing the national anthem. his "signature" pieces as he got older were God Bless America and Old Man River. i'll save those for another time - that one seemed appropriate for Veteran's Day.

dropped punkin's dose to 8 units tonight. the son was supposed to check him mid-cycle and didn't, so i don't know how low he got today. but it was a low enough pmps that we went down .5unit.

Congrats on the dosecrease.

Looks like an all nighter for me so I'm headed to bed to sleep/test. Looks pretty quiet. Hope you don't stay up late.

(((Julie)))....esp on your dad. I miss mine, too....eight years on Dec 13. Also a vet.
