11/12 Nelli AMPS 142; +2 116; 97 +4.25 PMPS 122

I hope Nelli keeps heading down and surfs in the lagoon today. It is asking me to sign in now to see Nelli's SS. I don't want to do that at work and don't think it will work.
 
To all... I think I discovered problem and now fixed!
Apparently “somehow” link share was turned off... and not by me :nailbiting:.
Should be good to go now. Please let me know if problem continues :).

There's only two ways someone else can change your Google account settings:
  • a person has to know or have access to your Google account password
  • if you don't log out of your Google account anyone who has access to your phone, laptop, computer (whatever device you use) can change your settings

ETA: If you really think someone changed your Google settings, it would be a good idea to change your Google account password.

I looked at this again because the circumstances are extremely odd. These things usually don't happen and certainly haven't happened within a couple of days of each other. I discovered something interesting.

This is the link I posted in Post #5:

That's the link you were using before many of us could no longer access Nelli's spreadsheet yesterday. I retrieved the link from "History" on my laptop.

This is the ss link you just fixed by turning on link share and is currently shown in your signature:

Notice it's a new link... not the same as the one you were using. Not the same link as I posted above.

There are two options for sharing spreadsheets. I have to wonder if you ever had "link share" (or whatever it's called) turned on before this morning. I think given the two different links, it's likely you used the other method of sharing spreadsheets prior to this morning...

@Jill & Alex (GA) i am most confused and somewhat concerned about all this. “Someone” set up my SS, linked it to my signature when I first joined. I have no idea how it was originally done. My “fixing it” - was my discovery in Google Sheets how to allow anyone to see it who had link. That was turned off so I turned it on and then woah-la! I was back live.
It’s creepy to me that this happened when it did, in the wee hours of Sunday morning (11/11)... simply a coincidence? Maybe. I will PM you later today to discuss a conncern I’m having and how I might eliminate it.
