Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! I just love ~O) ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too!

I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. I was able to go hiking yesterday. The weather was good, a nice fall day: sun (at least when I started!), temps in the mid 40's. That makes for great hiking weather. I went on a whim, after seeing potential blue skies out my window, aka lots of stars. I just couldn't pass up a day outdoors. The drive up was so cool: a GORGEOUS sunrise for the whole hours drive. :-D  I left just after posting the condo, in the hopes of having a crowdless lake, and I did get one! YahOO! All. To. Myself. Here's what I wrote last night about yesterday: "Hi everyone! I hope everyone has had a good day today, and for all of you lucky enough to have it off, hope that has been nice too. I headed out early this morning, to visit a lake up near Bellingham, about a hour from my house. It's a beautiful lake, one I have taken Nicholas to in the past. We will have to get back there. I have found a spot on that lake this is almost better than the spots we went to in the past. Lots of water access, sicks and stones and sections that are shallow enough he can go in if he wants. Plus: LOTS of ducks! I drove up there today with the most incredible Sunrise: all sorts of colors. Of course I took lots of photos of that. I really do love being out at places like this when the sun rises. The lake hike was nice too. I did the main loop, but about 1/3 of the way around I decided to go "off trail" and hike a narrow path that hugged the lake's edge. That was great, as it opened up areas I had not truly seen before. Kinda fun too! I think that today I did just under five miles, not too bad. There was little elevation gain, maybe 300 feet, so the hike itself was an easy one. It will be great to take Nicholas back and see how he likes the new spots at Lake Padden" What a great morning it was! I spent the afternoon cleaning, just cuz the mood was there. Weird huh.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were good kitties yesterday - even Lola. Fancy that! Well, normal Lola. I must have removed her from her banister railing walking at least a dozen times. I was home about 12:30 yesterday, and I had all of those kitties following me everywhere I went in the house. They had a little caravan going.  When I settled in the room I needed to do things in they did too, and just sat and watched. Even Lola, well most of the time with Lola: the temptation was always to great to get into soothing.... It was also vacuuming day too, and with that comes the dust mop. Lola decided that was her new best friend. She attacked it over half a dozen times. The rest she spent scattering all that the mop had collected. It must have taken me twice as long to get that done, due the expert re-scattering by my helper.  Elsa and Bug just watched her, with that "Seriously???" look on their faces. They went off to nap.  YUPP!! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. Today is Seattle visit day with my friend in the early afternoon. WooHOO! That is the extent of my social day tomorrow. wow - all that free time, what will I do with it??? I dunno! ;-)

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Hi, Michelle, what a nice hike yesterday! And it sounds like you found a lovely lake to return to someday :-D .
I think you should tie some Swiffer dust cloths to Lola and let her clean the house  .
Enjoy your day in the city!

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) TX< the lake was really nice, I'll be back with the boys for sure. LOL, and YES on the Swiffer cloths - excellent idea!  That does have possibilities, and less work for me! THX on today, it will be fun to go to the city. :-D

Hi guys .. sounds like a nice day, well, despite the cleaning!! Sounds like lola had a fun day as well, with meeting her new best friend and all

Have a fun day in the City! I know you will.  On your helper, that is Emma in the garden w/ me. It's amazing how she never gets stuck w/ a cactus or agave. She knows just how close to get. Hmmmm, on the Cleaning Cat! Being a white cat Emma has a natural affinity for dirt! Unfortunately the white fur doesn't stay put and is usually all over me!

Those pictures are so beautiful. I love a good sunrise. That is one advantage to getting up early because of Furball. I can just imagine the fun Lola had with the dust mop. I hope you have a good visit with your friend today.

Hi Michelle, sounds like a great day and hike yesterday and nice spot to return with the boys. Beautiful pics, too. Oh how funny with Lola and helping with the cleaning, or so she thought. She is a riot. Elsa, thanks for my coffee and I'll take three tuna cheesy pizzas.
Have a great day in Seattle, and enjoy time catching up with friends.

  A whole caravan of supervisors making sure you get your chores done! Well...Lola maybe not so much a supervisor as a superhelper  What a beautiful life you have Michelle! Love the lake pics..makes me so homesick for the west coast. Seattle has always been one of my favorite cities to hang out in, and watch my Seahawks play :-D Hope you enjoyed your day (and that Lola gives you another day's reprieve from the plant)
Elsa, you little darling, I must thank you for the delicious and much needed energy coffee this morning! It had the makings to be a rough day, but thanks to you I got through it! :-D

Hi everyone. I hope your afternoon, and morning, have been good. Its has been a nice, more or less mellow, day here. I decided early on in the morning to take a trip down through the woods to the shore and Lund's Gulch Creek to see if I could see anymore of the salmon run. The weather wasn't the best, lots of drizzly rain... but I went anyways. I was glad I did. I found several Chum Salmon working their way up from the sound and up into the creek. I think I counted about a dozen or so. What was nice to see was that they have been able to make their way some of the obstacles, mostly low waterfalls, to keep on with their journey,. Chum aren't really jumpers, and instead will fight their way through the flow of the water, including waterfalls. Anyways.... I had a great time. Seattle this afternoon was nice too. We actually had sun in the city, so after seeing my friend I went a few blocks south and walked Freeway Park. This parks straddles a section of I5 and a few urban streets, and is actually rather pretty, The plantings are nice, well maintained. It was great to see some remnants of fall with the colorful tree, and the fallen leaves. All is all it has been a really nice day. I will post the Picassa links in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Devon - THX, it was. oh yes, Lola, it seems, loves to clean. Go figure! but shew always shows up to "help". crazy cat!

Hi Ann, and Miss Tess, THX, I did. It was sunny and such a gorgeous fall day there. I had a great time, even visited a park. I can SO SEE Emma as your garden helper. ;-) Funny how that happens with the fur too. it is the same here. Why is it I am always the ne that ends up covered in fur.... darn long-hairs!

Hi Carla - THX on the pics. it really is a beautiful lake, and a great place to go for a lake loop walk/hike. THX too on the sunrise pics. I too am up before dawn, so get to see alot of them. A plus in my book to being an early riser. Lola evolved that dust mop. That was crazy, but fun to watch her.

Hi Melissa - THX on the pics - and yes, it is just that. very peaceful, quiet. Just a very nice place to go. The loop walk is full of great lake images too. LOL on the Swiffer. I may just have to try that....

Hi Ann,and Miss Katie - THX, it was! I think the boys will like it there, it has all the things that they enjoy: accessibility to the water being one of them. Oh yeah on Lola - love her and all her antics. She is something else. it is so fun! THX on Seattle, it was fun. A beautiful sunny day there.
Auntie Ann! OK - you gots it! Lola and Bug are finishing them up now and will be by in a few. You need some for your neighbors? I got frappes today too. I will bring you one. ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Kim - YUPP! That it was: a supervisor caravan. ah Lola.... she is rally something. I've never had a cat that wants to be as involved as she does. Kinda fun!. Hey thanks - I do like it here. The scenery is awesome, and well the city i fine, and then there are those Seahawks! What a year they are having! THX: the day was great,a nd so far Lola has not gotten into any plant maintenance. Paws crossed we amke it through the day. :-D
Auntie Kim! AWESOME! I am so glad that my brews were good, and helped you get going. My bean says she can't get through the day without my espresso. The energy coffee is darn primo, huh! It is Mannie's recipe, and he did good! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

hee-hee! I like your dusting partner. It cracks me up the things that interest them. But then again, I'm interested in what interests them...so somewhere along the way, I'm like a cat. :-D Glad you got a nice hike in...your weather sounds LOVELY! Have a great evening, Michelle and scritches to all the kitties.
