Pirate Fitzel's Condo Cove

Hello to all - because of my health issues Fitzel is not getting her insulin every 12 hours. Some days it's 15 hours, once it was 23 hours. One time because I knew I wouldn't be able to get to her for a really long time, I shot early - 10 hours.

Her numbers are all over the map because of this and unfortunately, she's showing the effects of such an erratic schedule. I know I'm doing the best I can and so am doing my best to deal with guilt and depression.

I just wanted you all to know. Please don't yell and no lectures from anyone. I couldn't take it and you won't be saying anything to me I haven't been saying to myself.

Healing vines to all who need them. Blessings to those who've lost their babies.

You're doing the best you can, and that is all that matters. There should be no guilt! Love The Pirate and enjoy her.
At the end of the day........" It is what it is ". Don't beat yourself up.

((((Shai))))... I was just asking yesterday if anyone had heard from you. I'm so sorry your health has been worse. I don't think her numbers look that bad.

((((Shai)))) I'm sorry about your health issues and I hope they improve. Fitz is doing well, the numbers are actually pretty good. Like Marje said, take care of yourself.

From your post, I was expecting Fitz's numbers to be a lot worse!

Is there anyone who can lend a hand with shots? Is there a vet tech from your vet's office who might be able to help with shots?
