Hey Cecile, so far so good, Now I'm constantly counting how many pees he's doing.
Thank god he likes the Purina Pro Plan Urinary Health I bought.
The prescription ones that the ER recommended are way too high in carbs
The Pro Plan ones are good also low magnesium and phosphorus
They have chicken flavor and Beef & Chicken

Went and visited with my dad today at the nursing home. He knew who I was but then goes off in telling me things that never happened, so I just go along with him
I never thought he would ever get Alzheimer's, just gets me sick to my stomach !
I stayed for about 4 hours, made sure he ate all of his dinner.
Then gave him 2 pumpkin cupcakes , he just loves his sweets.
I just hate when I have to leave, I make sure whoever his aid is for the night follows my rules lol. It's really only the agency aids I tell , the ones there during the week know him well so I never have to worry.
He turned 89 on Nov 7 . I told him he was 89 and he said no way, I'm 44
I said OK you're 44 .
During the day they have all the patients go into the dining area, they have a huge
TV there, they do a lot of activities with them, Bingo, Karokee , painting, balloon volleyball, they bat a balloon around to each other with a tennis racket.
I look around at some of these people and it breaks my heart.
It's like the movie One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.
Who's crying, who's yelling, it's so sad. I'll go over to them and try and calm them down. There are always 2 aids in there watching them.
Well now that I chewed your ear off , have a good night and give that cutie pie a kiss for me
