Read the post after I had given Toby his shot this morning. He is high this morning. Will go up to 12.5 units tonight. We usually
make dehyrated chicken breast for treats. Last night went to Wal-Mart and bought Full Moon freeze dried chicken . Is that the brand that others are feeding? Just wondering if that made his numbers go up? Take Care, Peg and Toby

check the ingredient list - if there is nothing but meat, it shouldn't make his BGs go up. HOwever, there have been people who reported that plain chicken breast increased their cat's BGs. I've wondered if it was additives to the chicken. You could stop giving the freeze dried meats for treats and see if he goes back down.

It also might just be that he has gotten used to the last dose and needs more.

Take advantage of his higher numbers and take a break for yourself today, peg. gotta take the breaks when he gives them to you.

Went up tonight to 12.5 Units. Will test tonight but, probably won't see any results until tomorrow. Was hoping the 12 units was doing it. Maybe this will be the one. Hope everyone had a good veterans day. Peg and Toby

one of the things people told me when i started was to not get attached to a dose - they're going to change. at least we know with Toby that we're in the ballpark with him now!
