Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O)

We had an OOPS kinda morning. Tigger's huge bounce to PMPS/467 last night had me thinking it would be the usual bouncy night. +3 was 305, so I turned off the alarm, grateful for a night of uninterrupted sleep :-D . Tigger's hamburger ears were grateful, too :-D :-D . I slept great, & Tigger, too, at the foot of the bed.

So @ AMPS, expecting our usual pink, it's -- 128. :? Re-test = 132. So all these thoughts & feelings start whizzing around my head - what did I miss last night - 44 - 32 - 26????? @-) :o

After I peeled myself off the ceiling I realized he maybe had a slow drop to 128 & felt much better about that. Tigger was still alive, that was the important part :!: . A re-test in 30 would tell if he was going back up fast off a low or still dopping, so we'd find out soon enough.

Moral of the story, at least at our house: Never stop testing until the BG's start going up reliably.

+0:30/92, so I think this was a gradual decline, but next time, I'm gonna do more PM testing!

We also have a vetty appt. this afternoon @ 4PM to find out about the ick on Tigger's lip. Hope it's just acne & not a granuloma - my poor eyes can't see well enough. Thanks everyone for all your help with the pics yesterday!

Hope everyone else out there is having a happy cat day - sending vines out to any in need & comfort vines to Carl, Lydia, Dian, & Chris

Re: 11/11 Tigger AMPS/128!!! + Vetty Appt today

Nice sliding there Tigger! A pink to blue slide was one of Neko's favorite type of cycles on Lantus. When I randomly wake up in the middle of the night I always wonder if I should test anyway. And green already - WTG!

Good luck with vetty appt today.

Re: 11/11 Tigger AMPS/128 +1/78 +1.5/103 Vetty Appt today

What a great slide! Good luck at the vet today, say Hi for me.

You had me a little confused w/ the "+30" did you mean 30 minutes after the last test? We usually use decimals or +0:30. +30 would mean 30 hours after the last shot!

Re: 11/11 Tigger AMPS/128 +1/78 +1.5/103 Vetty Appt today

Thanks, Wendy & Ann!

@ Wendy: Yes! I usu. set alarms for 12:30 & 2:30 - but turned them off... The Green was short lived, sad to say. +6 & we're back in pink. I think he had a long slide into blue last night, tho, so I gave him some hours there ;-)

@ Ann - Oops! ohmygod_smile Sometimes it feels like there's 30 hours in a day but.....I'll use the other differentiation from now on - thanks!
I'll say 'Hi' for you both!

I think this is a first that we've had both AMPS & PMPS in Blue!!!! I'm wondering if Tigger's starting to level out - OR - he's getting ready to get a reduction no matter what! At any rate, I'm liking all the blue as long as we stay safe!

Tigger went to the vet for his icky chin this afternoon. Vet doesn't think it's a granuloma (whew!), & doesn't think its acne, but more an abrasion. I can't figure out where he'd of got that, tho, especially on his lower lip. Its more read today. I cleaned it with witch hazel that had a little alcohol, & that may have dried it too much. Will look for aloe vera tomorrow. Anyway, I'm really happy its not a granuloma - I was sooo scared Sunday!

G'nite all - I think it may be a long night, so I'm heading to bed early!

Hi Suzanne! I had to pop in to see how the vetty results turned out - I'm glad it doesn't seem to be serious. I hope Tigger heals up soon. I think you're right in assuming a slow slide to that AMPS - it seems like the high bounces just go down, down, down all cycle. But of course as soon as we think we've figured out these bouncy cats they do something different  Very nice blues today, though . . . I hope some flatness sticks around! Sleep tight!

I hear ya' on the scared you missed something by skipping the test. But, honestly, sometimes we just need a little uninterrupted sleep. We're no good to anybody else if we don't take care of ourselves. Oftentimes, Hershey's nadir is his next shot time. Always keep 'em guessin'...

Glad you got good news at the vet!!!!

Have a great night -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Just catching up!! I'm glad you got good news.

I bet if it's an abrasion, you can use neosporin on it. That might help a bit.
