+2 300 Pink beats red but not as well as blue.

I dont think I have been to your condo before. Would love to see some photos of your kitty.

Looks like he has been diabetic for some time and you got a better meter in August.

I notice you arent doing many tests outside of pre shots so I wonder what happened on the 9th when he was 79 at preshot. I wonder how low he went and whether that would have merited a dose decrease, same again on the 10th when he bounced afterward.Have you considered doing a few night time spot checks esp when he is blue or green at pre shot?

For those of you who don't know Sue, she's been around FDMB for a while -- not that long of a while, though! She has a challenging schedule and has been posting in Relaxed. Since it's not been busy over there lately, I suggested she post here if she had questions or needed some input regarding Samwise.

Samwise was DX'd in 2009 and we started with PZI. After a month on PZI he went OTJ for over a year. I moved vet's last year and he was switched to Lantus. He didn't do as well as I thought he would on Lantus but he's done okay, if you want to call his wonky numbers okay. He seems not to be able to tolerate a decrease as well as I'd like so I have mostly been leaving him at the 1 unit dose. I try to get more tests and was going to today but my brother in law from Texas came over to watch football with the DH and Sam disappeared outside. It's cold as hell out 19F right now and I am still waiting for him to come in since Tom has left. I hope it's soon.

I still haven't figured out how to get Sam's picture up.
