Good Morning, Everyone,

Celebrating our veterans and remembering those that fell, especially friends who died in Viet Nam. Armistice Day 1918, the "War to end all Wars" ended; the war that defined the 20th century.

Rusty is bouncing a bit, but he was also eating his nighttime food when we got up this morning, so the AMPS number could reflect both. He was feeling especially good last night at bedtime and was bounding around and sliding on the rugs (I saw this morning that he had contributed to his downstairs litterbox after we had gone upstairs, so that was the "happy cat crap dash"). Last night he snored a lot. I know it's his chronic congestion. This morning he is fine.

Rusty's vet just called with the lab results for the urinalysis and C&S. All is perfect! So the only thing that is somewhat worrisome on his blood-test results is the GGT (which had always been borderline low (<0 U/L) and now is borderline high at 3U/L). This has something to do with the gall bladder/liver interaction. Everything else in his blood work was normal. The values are on the Labs tab of Rusty's SS.

Edward is at yoga and as soon as he gets home we are heading down to camp to canoe. It's a beautiful, WARM, autumn day and it will probably be the last good paddling day. All our boats are put away for the winter except "Winnie", our 21-year-old tandem We-non-nah. She always opens the canoeing season and closes it.
Rusty will hold the fort today. I expect him to drop and hope that he will eat and not "save" his food until we get back in the late afternoon.

Wishing you all a good day of Remembrance and sending vines to all in need.

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

It is also a sunny fall day here, a tad bit chilly for us, but the sun is out none-the-less. A hike day for me, I hope. Enjoy your paddle, it sounds like a very good one in the making.

I am glad all is well with Rusty, no clue here on the GGT. Something to watch... Be good today Rusty, surf well, and remember to eat your fuds.

Love the running active Rusty last night. That was the troops here this morning, though I suspect it was just Lola the catalyst rather than any celebration over LB action.

Enjoy your day today. Have the best paddle.

Good Evening, Everyone,

Our hearts go out to Pat and LuAnn this evening: Raja and Grayson are flying free. wings_cat wings_cat

Rusty was home alone all day. He ate the rest of his breakfast, but never checked his automat for his lunch (he ate it when we got home!) The LagoonMeister was on duty! I wish he would "remember" that he is hungry while supervising the lagoon!!

We had a lovely Indian-Summer day on Indian Lake. Well, it was so windy that we didn't venture out onto the main part of this long, usually windy lake, but stayed in the cove where our camp is. The important thing is that we got out and had a good close to the paddling season. Rusty helped us put our canoe away when we got home.

We thought about Armistice Day. World War I is one of my extra-curricular interests. Unbelievable casualties for all participants.

Continuing to send vines to all in need,

Ella & Rusty

Another wonderful day by the LagoonMeister. Surf safe tonight Rusty!

I'm glad you had a good close of paddling season. It was sunny and very windy here too, lots of chop on the water. I visited the island museum after Remembrance service today and they had a special show on WWI and it's ties to the island. Fascinating stuff.

wonderful to have such a beautiful day to end the season. And Rusty! Good work at the lagoon today, tess says she can take over the night shift.
