I`m sorry I`m just getting my condo up so late now...
My mind is mushier than usual lately! Everything seems harder, more complicated, and gets put off...
Reuben is eating and drinking, yeay! LB fine, purry, not too preeney, lovey, a little spacey, and sleeping a lot. As soon as I find a food that he likes that is complete nutrition I won`t have to use the feeding tube. Of course he hates the stuff we have been syringing into his mouth and now into the tube (friskies t&g) and there aren`t many options here. There are two other flavors of the friskies though, that we can try.
Tomorrow I pick up the sonogram and get it to our vet, who is out of state. There are no tumors, yeayyy!!! The walls of his intestine are thicker than 'normal' so we`ll see what his vet says about that. His vet says the blood tests are good, but definitely showing the lack of nutrition -- and that what is going on could all be pancreatitis related.
Hugs and vines to all the kitties and beans facing challenges, and to those who are enjoying peaceful times as well :YMHUG:
Ongoing Medications:
Clavamox 50mg bid (started again today)
Ondansetron .83mg BID
Pepcid 2.5mg bid
Bupe 0.1ml as needed
1ml coconut oil bid
vitamin B w/minerals
