Good morning day 8 already! This morning AMBG was 70
That pancreas must have been going hell for leather if her did get into someone else's food. Perhaps he was just having a cuddle, curled up somewhere cosy!!
Anyway past 1/2way now!!!
Keep it up Red.
Thanks for your lovely messages, it's so encouraging.

GO RED!!!

Just got an update on Reds PMBG it's 121.
Bit higher, but my husband said he had been a bit edgey and not very settled this afternoon. I think he was feeling a big teratorial and wanted to go out. But as it was getting close to dinnertime he wasn't allowed out. Don't want him dining elsewhere! He also gets very agitated when chicken is roasting, his favourite.
So I hope this will be a little more respectable number in the morning.
Fingers crossedx

Kath:

While the 121 is just a squeek out of the 'normal' range, one thing you can do so you and DH can sleep better is to get a test about 3 hrs after Red eats. You'll know if his pancreas has kicked in if the numbers come down. Food stimulates the pancreas to produce endogenous insulin (i.e., it's own insulin) which will bring BG numbers down.

I have a mental picture of Red pacing in front of the oven while a chicken is roasting!! Lol!!!
