Depending on what numbers she gets today, you may want to increase to the 1.75 dose this evening.

How is her breathing, and how is she acting, and is she eating okay and her normal amount?

The Breathing is okay, shes acting stubborn all she wanna do is to lick the stitches.

she eats normally. the usual amounts. she was playing with me last night with her toy.

she only pee little.


+3 ~ 110 thats a quick drop I think.

It's hard to tell if it's a quick drop. If she has been going down by 36 points per hour for 3 hours, then that is a fair drop. If she was 200 at +2 and 110 at +3 then that is a fast drop.
I think I would just try to feed her her normal LC food and see if that slows the drop some.

You're doing a good job of controlling her numbers, Aseel.

I'm not sure what you mean by the +3 is 88. Do you mean +4.5 is 88?

It looks like the talking about a dose increase did the trick and got her into some good healing numbers today.

If she is at 88 now, I would only feed LC food now. The HC will wear off quickly, so test again at about +5 or so.

With a number below 70 and a dropping number, I would test again at +5. Please don't wait until +6 to test her.

If the 88 is at +3.5, then please move it from the +4 column to the +3 column on your ss. Thanks ;-)

Glad to hear she is doing well! Good too see greens today.

Tiggy is not remotely interested in his stitches but he isnt the cleanest of cats. Our civvie cat takes a 10 minute bath if you even look at her dirtily but Tiggy is kinda lazy and cleans only when its really necessary.. typical boy!

hahah dirty boys .. Noni is so eager to clean her stitches, think it itches.

she is drinking very little, think its because the wet food. she pees little, but no no.2 yet.

Nope - they are dissolvable ones that are under the skin.. however we did see some more diarrhea today so I am calling the vet tomorrow...

Noni's cut is big, I don't think dissolvable would work. Diarrhea is normal after operations i believe.

Since she got down to 68 in today's cycle, I would stick with the 1.50 dose for now. Good job, today. :mrgreen:

Hi Aseel - Just thought I would stop by and see how Noni has been doing. Looks like she is trying to figure out this dose and was not ready for an increase! Yeah. Hopefully she'll keep feeling better and recovery quickly from surgery!

Thank you for stopping by Karen, She's doing better, but lazy and stubborn as she want this cone off. still a week to go poor girl.
your right, shes doing well with 1.5 dose for now, I'll wait and see in few more days.

Yes, that cone of shame can never be very comfortable. Ughh on the one more week. Hang in there Noni. This too shall pass.

We are doing pretty good here. Its hard to believe we've been OTJ 5 weeks. Meeting a new vet tomorrow so will open up a condo with those results.
