Hi, a little late today for Maggie. Hmmm....Beaver Moon Party last night! They sure must have had a good time, but she's not talking. Maggie's numbers are still off a little for her, but she had some nice blues there in mid cycle. My battery died in my meter after almost two years! That's a fair amount of time for a battery. I had two extras on hand. Maggie started out on a yellow and ended in a yellow. All P's are in place, and she was full of energy this morning, and did her zoomies. I did pick up a new vial Lantus, so I'll remember the shed will need filled if the old insulin was fading. I had an early appt. to check the leg wound, and it seems to be healing, but slowly. Hope all are having a nice day.

Barely yellow, right Mags? At least she gave you some breathing room for your appt. I hope you are sitting with your leg up and the heating pad. :lol: Enjoy your evening Ann! :YMHUG:

Zoom Zoom Maggie needs to slip back down into green!!! I hope the new vial will be the answer and we see those incredible greens again.

Glad the leg is healing, Ann. Hope you aren't overdoing it!!

Hi Melissa, yes, I didn't have to worry while I was out with a yellow number. Thanks for the reminder with the heat pad and foot up. I have a hard time sitting still.

Hi Marje, I sure hope she slips down into some greens and the new vial makes a difference.

Hi Roni, I did hear a lot of talk from Maggie on how much she enjoyed hanging out with Moonie and eating Moon Pies :lol: :lol: and the yellows!

Anne & Zener, I hope so, too, that Mags gets back into Maggie-land numbers. Mags also needs a dental again!

We are a little nervous about Zener's dental. He had one a few years ago before FD, and he is still not very well regulated. Have Maggie's dentals gone okay? We also have to schedule one for our civvie Tillie in the near future, but Zener first.
Come on down Maggie, no moon pies for you tonight. ;-)

Hi Michelle, I think Maggie heard you; she just showed us a nice blue. Thanks on the leg and new vial.

Hi Anne & Zener, that makes two of us that are nervous about dentals. Last dental when I got Maggie home, she dropped suddenly and I had a hard time getting her numbers up to normal range. It was an all nighter, and everyone here was urging me to take her to the ER, but I knew if I worked with her all night, we'd be okay. I have trouble with night time driving.

And yikers on the post-dental drop! Our vet will have us bring in Zener 1st thing in the morning of his dental and they will keep him until 5 or 6 pm before letting us take him home. I'm the night shift with Zener, and we will be out of school that week, so will keep paws crossed that there will be no drama, like we have any control over these things. :lol:
 
Hi Ann - Glad to hear your leg is doing better, and good luck with the new vial! I just love the zoomies...our kitties really know how to have fun, don't they?

i just read your reply on the "BTD" question...
I wasn't actually teasing you...I saw someone else post the same thing and thought i was just too dense to understand the reference :lol:
