I haven't seen a Loose Lips in awhile. So what's new in LL this week?

I have to call Dr. B today and see if he was able to show the other vets Leroy's video and figure out what's wrong. Leroy's last update. I'm nailbite_smile about what could be wrong with Leroy.

Leroy made Emma throw up this morning @-) @-) They were running around and Leroy decided to jump on Emma's back and bounce up and down a few times. Emma complained and once Leroy got off her, promptly threw up her entire breakfast @-) @-) Fortunately it was in the bathroom so it was easy to clean up... once I pushed Leroy out because he was very interested in the, um, stuff @-) ohmygod_smile

I'm always glad when the barf lands on a throw rug or if I can get a towel under them. They never throw up in our bathroom. That's funny/gross that Leroy wanted to help clean up...

Hi guys .. Glad to see a loose lips condo for this week!

Let's think positive thoughts for leroy and you .. We know what this board is capable of doing!

To bad emma threw up this morning .. to bad leroy wanted to help clean up!

We had our first snowfall here yesterday .. it was a complete white out for about ten minutes, but it didn't last and the snow didn't stick .. the girls however had a blast batting at the patio door watching it come down

Blackie has radar ears (and eyes) for leftover contraband, too. I'm glad that you were able to catch him before he got a hold of it. Nothing worse than seeing higher #s due to contraband, and if the contraband is the dry kibble that the other kitty ate, and Leroy got it, it'll take some time for it to clear his system. In the meantime, you'll be testing and seeing those higher #s for a bit.

Leroy is just too curious for his own good @-) That's how he ended up in the ER twice. He even eats dust bunnies ohmygod_smile

No worries. Leroy and Emma are both civies  Leroy's bg at the vet last week was a nice 100 :-D I still have Squishy's Aviva meter but no test strips or lancets to use. Leroy has nice big ears for poking but he might not hold still long enough because of his ADD

Just heard from Dr. B. He didn't forget about Leroy. He wanted to view the video with two other vets but didn't have a chance to do it. So maybe next week. Dr. B inquired about Leroy. No new episodes but he's still being a PITA troublemaker

Emma got back at Leroy today. She gave his butt a good whack as he walked past her

animals can be kinda disgusting - or you could look at it as the ultimate recycler! ewwwww

i got to play with fabric all day today! finally finished the quilt top i'm making for my youngest daughter (19) - she picked a kinda hard pattern and the jelly rolls of fabric (if you know what that is) and it didn't lend itself to being easy. but done now - and i'm taking it to a pro with a fancy machine to have it finished. i've quilted large quilts on my little 1961 Singer but it's very hard to manage all the bulk.

tonight our son is performing "Poi" with a band in Portland - and they don't come onstage til 11pm. so we're leaving home after punkin's shot and will be home somewhere around 2-3am (yikes). but we'll be there to cheer him on like good little parents. Poi is also called fire dancing. you swing these balls that are on fire that you're holding in each hand. there's a chain between your hand and the flaming ball. i suspect he's using the LED glow poi tonight because it's in a club and i doubt they would allow fire, but he took the fire equipment just in case. it's kind of dancing, sort of, while you're doing fancy moves with the poi.

i can't tell you how comforting it is to have your son's hobby be playing with fire. he has burnt his hair, singed his eyelashes (yes eyelashes) and i have had to beat a burning patch on his shoulder to put it out. *sighs*

he's 22 and too old for mommy to tell him not to play with fire. unfortunately. although when he started 2 years ago in college we gave him a fire-extinguishing blanket for his next holiday gift.

A friend of ours does the LED poi performances and it is so cool! Must be extra special cool with the real flames. Guess it's a young crowd for the performance. I can't imagine going out at 11pm anymore. We are so boring!   Have a great Friday night and take a lot of aloe, just in case.
