LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug are making their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! The CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE has been so popular that it is now part of the cheery cherry Monday line-up! as well as cheery cherry frappes! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I love cheery cherry Mondays.
I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. I spent mine at home, with a few local hikes to add some outdoor time to a weekend full of chores and errands and general relaxation recovery time from a very busy week with the boys. We had all sorts of weather, from severe winds, to heavy rains to gorgeous sunny fall days. What a combo! Sunday was an outdoor day for me, at least in the morning. We never made it much above 45, it was for the most part a cloudy gray morning, but at least the rains had stopped. I made the decision to go on an early hike through the woods to the shore, in hopes of seeing more of the salmon run. Meadowdale's Lund's Gulch Creek meets the sound here at the shore, and is known for it's salmon runs. Yesterday I heard them in the tunnel portion of the creek, found them further upstream too. Sweet! So I stayed even longer to watch some of the run. WOOT! Salmon in the tiny tiny creek. It is quite the experience to watch these fish navigate, and return every year to this creek. YaHOO! And what a morning.... I did manage between the two weekend days to get the shores and errands and laundry and shopping done. What a relief, we are now ready to start out a new week. Well, I think we are....

What to say about the kitties.... We have finally adjusted to the time change! dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat and they have stopped waking me up at 3AM. 4AM is bad enough, but that 3AM was wearing very thin.... I am so glad that they have finally figured it all out. Well done furkids!
The day yesterday was a good one for all of them. Elsa went out some, napped too. Bug spent alot of time just watching the outdoors from a window perch, and seeking me out for lots of leg rubs and scritches. Some to think of it, Elsa did that too. Lola was... well... Lola. Lot of running here there and everywhere. She only knows one speed ya know: warp speed running. Alot of seeing what she could get into. Alot of "whatcha doing?" ALot of Lola.  I needed to do some plant maintenance: trimming dead leaves, trimming back stalks, leaves etc... of course I had a helper, who thought I was playing in her dirt. She never left my side, helping with all the trimming etc. It seems she thought that was an open invitation to help herself later on. I came back into the living room only to see her straddling the railing and stretching to the plant and munching on a few leaves.
     How does she do that and not fall off that banister railing is beyond me. The read end was straddling the railing, holding on for dear life, while the front end was wrapped around the plant. of course, I was camera-less! :? YUPP (!!!!) Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
Have a great day everyone! Enjoy your holiday, if you have it off. I'm not too sure what will be here today. One of those days when I shall see what comes to be. I may hike, if the weather holds. Paws crossed that it does.
