What a dance we had yesterday! Just LOOK at those beautiful numbers! I had to struggle to keep him from dropping lower than 50 - all those numbers from the +3.5 had mixed HC/LC and even had to resort to a drop of karo about +4-ish. I wasn't sure what he'd do last night so did sleep/test at pm+6 - was 238. I have to share a funny about that - I'd told DH that I needed to test between 3am-4am, please wake me. When time arrived, I'd just fallen heavily asleep - he was saying "Up and Test" but all I understood was "Oliver Twist"....WHY was he bothering me with Oliver? Oliver wasn't gonna fall out of the truck! Now you must understand....our 'newbie' Oliver Twist's profile pic (at the bottom) has him leaning out the HIGH window of their truck's sleeper. I'd just shown it to DH earlier in the night. When I saw the pic, I felt the same 'rush' that MamaBean did when she saw it - PANIC - Oliver! GET DOWN! NO, NOT "OUT", DOWN! as she frantically ran for the truck door....
Everyone is in fine form this morning altho' it's rainy and dreary looking....will be COLD later.
The Torino went into it's 'new' home yesterday - it's now under the carport protected from falling limbs!!! I drove it for the first time...and smiled and cried....yep, LittleBrother was right there with me....gosh I miss him! We didn't see each other or talk very often but we both knew each other was there when needed. His birthday is coming up in 2 weeks - this is going to be VERY hard on all of us. ENUF OF THAT! My tears are tears of joy...
BIG HUGS to all that visit today! We extend our THANK YOU to all our vets that have served to keep our freedom!
