HAPPY SUNDAY!

Soooo glad we could increase this PM cycle! Hershey has pretty much laid around all day - fairly positive it's because he's been running so much higher than his recent normal. Eating and laying there looking pitiful...that's about it...until PM +4. You'll notice that he dropped from (341) to (249) in an hour and he was (249) when he started wrestling with Oreo. Hopefully, he's on his way to nicer to numbers. :-D

**Interesting development in the recent puking - I don't always see it when it happens. Tonight, I watched OREO vomit and it looked just like what I've been finding! :o  So, maybe Oreo is having a food problem? And, how often has it been Hershey? Often Oreo? How often is 'acceptable' for a kitty to get sick?

Thanks for all of your help trying to figure out what's going on...

Have a great night -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

WOO-HOO! Glad to see that blue after 48 hours of higher numbers!

Going to try to grab a nap before shot time - nighty night!

Feed back on pukus
Ive 21 kitties, Libby. All of them are grownup with no major health issue (other than Rosy having the DM) They are shorthaired therefore not much hair shedding. But during seasonal change, they shed , lick & ate the hair. I have to feed them hairball remedy. If not because of hairball, I seldom found them throw up. Or sometimes after I fed green grass, they will throw up the undigested grass. Or after they gobbled their food, they drank a lot of water & throw up immediately.
Whenever I found them puke, I'd suspect hairball. It is not a normal thing for cat to throw up.

Good insight Tortie - thank you!!! I've got a house full as well, and sometimes it's hard to know who left the "gift" on the floor. I haven't done the hairball treatment, as only one is a longhair. I do know that Peaches is a fast eater, and I've seen him toss up the food as you've described.

Libby - I hope Hershey & Oreo help you figure out who's responsible... and maybe the hairball treatment is low-sugar, so it won't impact H's BG. Good luck!
