11/11 Eddie AMPS 358 +4 101 +6 139 PMPS 445 +4 439

Ouch on that big drop today! I hope it doesn't cause a bounce. Do you feed Eddie between AMPS and +4?

After the drop the climb: PMPS 445. I feed Eddie @AM+4 when I do the test. I'm guess that given his unpredictability that a snack at +2 might be in order.

It's getting complicated with two cats on two different insulins with different onsets and nadirs (especially Eddie's right now). I'm hoping for some stability at least by January (!) as I have to start teaching then and it's not going to be possible to feed/test/feed. Hmmm.

So, Eddie gets breakfast + shot and I test at +4 because that's been the only time that registers a change from AMPS/shot time. Right now, he's high and I just fed him along with his shot. I usually test and give a snack at PM +4 and then again @ PM +8 or +9.

Do you see a pattern here?

Or +3. Try one for a couple weeks, then the other, and see it makes a difference. I see a couple times with a drop at +3.5. Giving a snack a half hour before the drop would mean the carbs are in his system and ready to help slow things down.
Will give that a try, Wendy, thanks. He really keeps me on my toes, even when I’m so tired I’m stumbling.
