Well been doing a LOT of meter comparing and looks like my relion confirm is the winner as being very close to my A trak in number with the FSL being the loser by being way way off   hate that for love that meter but to me its what is responsible for making me think he has good numbers when he does not and since he was also showing signs saying hey I need more juice Mom so went to ADW and ordered their arkray strips came with a free meter as well very good deal I cannot afford to use A trak daily with me not working anyway hope we get him back in blues soon. All P's in place other then he is at the water bowl again I will be glad to get his numbers back down so he will be back to what we were couple a weeks ago......

Re: 11/11 Do Lou amps 329+2 343 A trak

Hi guys .. glad you found a meter you feel comfortable using .. and let's hope with more accurate readings you can find that right dose again and get him back into some lower numbers .. that should definitely help with the water consumption issues .. have a great weekend!

We're counting on those numbers to be right. Good research! I hope this helps get Do Lou where you want him.

Re: 11/11 Do Lou amps 329+2 343 A trak

Glad to hear that you found a meter that will be close to the Atrak in readings. Now all Do Lou needs to do is come down to the yellows and blues. Good luck with everything today.

Re: 11/11 Do Lou amps 329+2 343 A trak

Glad you found a good meter--Now Do Lou needs to give you some great numbers!!
Heard he was eating the Moon Pies with Moonie last night!! OK you two--Cut the carbs!!
Hope he comes down today! Hugs & lub from us

Paws crossed for extra good blue numbers for DL!!! I think you are wise in sticking with one meter....esp one you have more confidence in.

(((Lisa)))..have a great night.

Oh, meter comparisons! How I hate to do those!! With the human ones I test them on myself, but I guess you can't do that with the Alpha Trak! Anyway, I'm glad you found a meter you can work with. Will you be indicating "Alpha Trak" in your condos when you use that one? Too bad the strips are so expensive.

Now, Do Lou, it is indeed up to you to get back to better numbers.

Enjoy the weekend, Lisa. I hope you'll be able to get out on another hike while the weather is still good (we have snow!)

Hi Ella when I use it yes will have it posted in my condo but with its expense I will really only be using it more for reference to make me feel confident in the meter I am using and it right now the relion confirm numbers are very close to A trak within a point or 2 nothing like what my FSL was doing it was almost 150 points lower one time did not mark it on my SS but still when you have 3 meters lined up and 2 almost match and one is that far off then something is not right in the picture IMO anyway his insulin is over a month now as well so going to get new insulin so see if this helps also but I think our main issue is just too low a dose still we are very far away from our 6.75 pre trip dose
