Good morning!

I think Clyde is trying to tell me that he's had enough of the ear testing and twice daily shots. He hopped up on the bed and didn't want to hold still to get a sample and then, later, decided to move as I was giving him his shot.

I think I got a furshot. I didn't feel any on his fur, but at .1u I'm not sure if I would or not because its so small. Well, at this point, all I can do is see what his BG is this evening and go from there. Hopefully it's still in the green bands.

with a +1 that is 32 points below the preshot, it would be good to get a +2 just to make sure he's ok. not sure if you are gone for the day yet or not. but if you could check him again today, just in case it wasn't a furshot, that would be good.

Unfortunately, I had to leave for work before the +2. This was one of those days I wish I could have stayed home and watched him longer.

Tonight, I checked at +11.5 and he was at 100. I did the PMPS and he came in at 70. Needless to say, I was really surprised to see a 30 point drop in a half hour without insulin. I tested again to verify and he was at 102. A third test was in the same range. I'm going to check again in an hour. It's possible, there were a couple of wonky strips in the container.

Just when I think my cats can't surprise me any more, Max does something to surprise me.

I'm sitting at the computer and I hear a bit of clinking from the kitchen. I go into the kitchen and find Max on the kitchen counter sticking his paw into the empty cat food can trying to get something out of it, all of the while there is still some uneaten food in the dish from dinner.

At +3 Clyde is at 72.
