Cleo has 4 P's in place this morning. Her appy was yucky, till I opened the magical can of food that she was craving. FF Chunky Chicken, with binder added. How I wish I could find one that she could eat plain. The ZiwiPeak Lamb is now considered yucky,even with FortiFlora, but she continues to eat (without gusto) the ZiwiPeak Venison & Fish. Hoping she will like the Weruva Beef Frites that I have ordered. And of course I will put them all back into the rotation at sometime since, after all, she is a cat :lol: :lol:

The calipers that I bought at the new Harbor Freight store, are not the right ones. I will return them, and I did order the ones that Marje recommended from their website.

I bought three calipers of varying sizes until I bought the correct ones at Harbor Freight. I went to Home Depot and Lowes. I asked the men working there where the calipers were and they showed me and asked me what I was using them for. I said to measure insulin for my cat. They all thought it was a good idea, at least that's what they said :)

Yup. They may be finicky, but it comes full circle and usually starts all over (and our pocketbooks appreciate that!). Looks like Miss Cleo cleared that little bounce very quickly :-D Good girl!! Now surf nice for your bean little one :mrgreen: I too have the wrong calipers. They only read in inches and the smallest division is 1/64", so will have to look around some. I currently just set and locked these ones to the dose I gave yesterday (what I have been using as 1u). That should work fine for awhile...at least it's a consistent amount.

LOL on the calipers! We all ended up with the wrong ones :lol: :lol: We should just order the ones Marje recommends first and save ourselves some trouble!! The ones I bought do not give a 0.00 type of measurement, only 0.0. I did bring the model # to the store with me, and the salesguy said the ones he sold me (the only electronic type he had) would work for what I wanted. wrong!!

Nice start for Cleo today. I think you'll like using the calipers once you get them and get started. I can't imagine not using them now that I do use them.

Hi Jane and Cleo ... Things are starting out good for Cleo ...if she would just get her appetite back,

Monet and Picasso love the Weruna wet food ... Have not tried the steak frites yet, let me know how Cleo likes that one ???

I will not be able to get home on lunch today, as there are meetings scheduled :sad: I left out ALOT of MC & HC food, in different places throughout the house. Including gravy food, her fav. This way, even if one gets eaten by a civvie, I know there will be more left. Major worry headache here.

I bought calipers from Lowes right before I left and haven't had time to look at them yet.

Thanks to the help of my coworkers, I was able to make a quick run home around lunchtime, 11ish, to check on Cleo. I didn't even try to test her, just saw that food was eaten, and that she was alert. :-D She ran out from under bed when I looked under.

She had good appy at dinner and is relaxing on catio :-D

Oh, what fun it is to try to figure out how to please our kitties each day. Some days I think Hershey envisions himself as the king reclined back while we minions are here to fan him and feed him peeled grapes! :roll:

Sorry about the wrong caliper. Hope you get the right one soon!

I'll bet Cleo appreciated the extra food you left out. Looks like she did okay!
