...and we're back in the yellows  ...
I think that things are kind of sort of starting to settle here, although I'm so superstitious anymore that I'm hesitant to speak the words. I did wake up shaking like a leaf (literally) because I'm so on edge, but I'm sure that will pass.
Zen seems to be doing pretty well; to my inexperienced eye, the wound looks good (although it is so hard to actually look at it). He has moments when I can tell he doesn't feel super, but he also has many moments of being his typical Zen self. Fortunately, he really isn't interest in bothering the wound, so I think it must be feeling much better.
Petey is still afraid of the family room and laundry room door, although he did briefly venture into the family room a couple times last night. This morning, though, he wouldn't even come all the way down the stairs, so that's where he ate breakfast. I suppose that's improvement, because last night he ate in the upstairs bathroom.
I do have to go to work today, and I'm still carless. I'm sure my partner will let me borrow her car so I can run home to check on things mid-day. And usually I work late on Thursdays, but today I'll be cutting out at 4:45...more quality kitty time.
Happy Thursday, everyone!
