At +4.5 last night was I was hopeful Sarge's bounce was breaking. Then in the wee hours of the morning I could tell by his muscle tone before the meter backed me up, there it was. Green! 98 at +7.75. We are at 139/159 this morning. I gave him his breakfast and 2.25 units and I am going to try to sneak home later and grab a spot test. Whiskers crossed we keep rolling this way. Thank you again to everyone that helped out with dosage advice yesterday. Your instincts were right to give him another couple cycles.

It's a beautiful morning in Mid-MO. The squirrels are playing in the yard and most likely storing up more nuts in my flower boxes before the temperature plummets tonight. This time tomorrow we may even have a little snow. Just in time for the trio's morning vet visit. Hehe. Happy Monday all!

Could it be a surfing blue day???? This is uncharted territory for us and I am really trying hard to contain myself...so it continues! Since blue mornings are pretty new to us, and Sarge had next to no food spike this morning, I gave him a heaping teaspoon of 10% carb food as hypo insurance this morning knowing it would be mid-afternoon before I could get home. At +8 we are still blue at 167. Yeah! There could have been some green earlier but with how late his nadir has been lately (around +8) I kind of doubt it. For now I'll settle for a blue surf over pink mornings and yellow afternoons. Curious to see what he does tonight...
