11/10 Milo need advice, PMPS 151

Last night PMPS was 273, and +3 was 111. I realized that I had actually shot 1.5units last night instead of the 1.25 I was giving. I decided to use the long needles again, and didn't realize until it was too late that they didn't have the half unit marks and what I had actually measured was 1.5 instead of 1.25...now this morning I get a reading of 78??? Haven't shot yet...what should I do???

My inclination it to suggest stalling for a little while to see if numbers are rising. Do you have any flexibility with your schedule?

I should have added not to feed when stalling....did you feed him already?
You can retest in 15 minutes to see if he is rising.

I have not fed anything to Milo yet. Looks like he is on the rise, should I go ahead and shoot and if so, how much?

I can be yes. Probably will have to go in to the office to pcik up some work, but could be around today.

I would test one more time and if he is the same or going up then I would shoot and get a +1 and +2.

ok, after 30min of stalling, Milo was up to 105. I shot 1 unit with the long needle. I could get a +1 before I leave for the office, but I couldn't be back in time for a +2. I could probably be back in time for a +3 (or even +2.5)...is that too long to wait???

I would gauge what you're doing on the +1. My guess is that Milo went lower than the 78 last night and he's going to bounce up. If you see a big jump at +1, you can probably make the office run without worrying.

Remember to change your AMPS to the 105 you actually shot on. Why did you reduce to 1.0u?

I did the 1unit because I am a big chicken!! I know, I know. Since this is the second time around with Milo, you would think I would have more confidence. However, the way he has been bouncing around since being OTJ, I just do not have the same confidence shooting these lower numbers...especially since I was trying to figure out when I could be back home.... will be testing again in 30.

Well, I wouldn't call 118 a big jump from 105....guess I should put off going to the office???

It might be a food spike. Sorry. I may shoot low but I monitor like crazy. I'm chicken in a different way.

yes, I am wondering if it is a food spike as well. decided to stay home to get a +2 reading and if Milo is higher, then I am going to run to the office and get some work to work from home today. I think though that this is a conspiracy on Milo's part. He is on my lap now as I type just purring away and demanding attention.

hmmm sounds like milo wanted you to stay home today and you did :lol: Sneaky lil' buggars aren't they? Anyways, I hope milo does not bounce to high from that 78 and surfs the day away in blues and greens for you! Have a great day!

144 at +2, heading to work to get some files to work on from home. It is looking like Milo will surf today, but we shall see. Planning on testing again at +4.
 
I am suprised to see Milo back down to 151. I am going to give him 1.25 units and see what happens. What a strange day!!!
