Good Morning everyone!

Luci ruled the day yesterday by going surfing in the lagoon - insisting that she could do it - even on three legs! So we changed our plans from visiting a small town nearby with cute antique shops to staying home and hanging out with Miss Luci...She surfed along for a bit but then decided by afternoon that she wanted to zoom back up that lemon tree. Ah Luci...always in charge!

It's a new day here in SW Florida - cool start for here at only 62 degrees! Quite lovely and I'll bet these folks around here who've been suffering from the heat are thrilled!

Great day yesterday and sorry you had to change plans, you have to make prior arrangements and permission from Luci to leave:woot:
I am absolutely loving this weather, although I would like it a bit more colder lol

Sorry she kept you in. But so glad if it means a pic of her. What really caught my eye was the floor (weird right). Well it's because my new floor will be quite close to that, wide plank hickory and it's always good to see what it will look like.

Sue, it's your pics that have put ideas into my head about my kitchen. I've never would have gone outside the typical kitchen box. A neighbor just had her kitchen completed last week. She went to Lowes for the planning and design. Although it's very nice, it's typical, no personality to it.
 
Luci is charge! I hope you’re able to go visit that cute town later on. Sometimes I wish some of our cats were adventure cats that we could bring along on a leash. And also hopefully not too many people give us weird looks lol!
 
I love seeing Luci and also knowing others change plans for their cats! I hope you keep nice weather for a while, and it doesn't end up getting too cold. We had 70s today - just awesome. It isn't staying though.

I'm so glad I was helpful...I think...sometimes I put ideas into people's head and their DH's regret it...my sis in law bought an induction, double oven range because I told her it's a great stove...I love induction...so she bought one and she loves it too...but her DH crabs at her about how much she spent on the stove...go figure huh?

You know, if you're gonna reno the kitchen, why not get what you really LOVE...why go with the usual stuff? I hear people saying, well when we sell it....I say when are you going to sell it? Is that why you're renovating? OR is it for YOU? If they hum and haw and say...well I dunno...then I say...then get what you love and what makes you happy...and don't worry about the 'sale'...other people can do whatever they like when they buy your house...and that's what makes me happy...and other people aren't living there...so when they are, they can do what they want..ha! I hope YOU love your renovations! I can't wait to see the pics of the finished product :)

Yes, she's a Manx - she was born with that stubby tail...and seems to do just fine with it. We thought that she'd been injured...and the guy we got her from (he is a farmer/nurseryman in our area) said that the mother had been dropped off at his house and she had three kittens...that's when we got our Luci...she was the last one of the liter to find a home...and yep...that short tail rules the house :)

Manx... that's what it looked like! Now we know why she's running the whole place ..;)
