Good Wednesday Afternoon Everyone
(time for a Latte!)
Very busy day today and my boy sleeps soundly in the sunshine. We're trying to get his food regulated as much as possible. He didn't like his food last night and so only nibbled(I won't serve that again). He woke me about 6:45a.m.(not bad at all!) and seeing his BG was low (108) and seeing he hadn't eaten during the night and he being so hungry I gave him 1/2 c LC, and waited till shoot time, about 2 hrs. away. 15 mins. before shot time his BG was 74 so I fed him 1/3 c MC, waited and shot regular dose. He's surfing it seems and I'm still watching carefully. He, on the other hand, lays lazily in the sunshine, let's me poke his ears, eats when he wakes and meanders back into the sunshine to sleep.  He seems to like "going green"!
We're using the timed feeder today to help get him regulated. I have three 5.5oz. cans set out for his feeding to see how long that last. His feeder is loaded up to 5:30 p.m. today. Including the feeding 2 hrs. before AMPS, I've emptied 2 cans. So that leaves me a can for the later evening and late night/early hours feedings. It does seem to me that in a 24 hour period he eats about 3+ 5.5oz. He weighs 17 lbs. and is holding. That's it for now. Gotta run.
Have a good day in Lantus Land Everyone, see y'all later,
