AMPS 191 shooting 2.25u
Boomer let me sleep through +6. However I woke up at +8, got up to use the washroom, and he was obviously trying to lead me to the kitchen. I didn't go but I suspected at that point that he hadn't eaten all of his +6. Well...he hardly ate any of it! He did get me up at +9 to stir his remaining food which he ignored of course. Cats!
Allen is eating ok. We are taking him off the pred but Dr Larry told us to do it gradually by giving him a dose every other day for four doses. So we're only on day 4 of this 8 day period. He's quite weak. He basically eats and sleeps and it takes him a while to get from his bowl to the bed he likes. Last night after he ate dinner I put him on the couch and DH brushed him....he stayed there with us for quite a while. B/w results show kidney values are the same, BG 27 and Dr Larry forgot to request potassium and phosphorous so he said he would "add" that....presumably the lab will still have the b/w sample and be able to run it. Ionized calcium will still be pending for a few days. The diazoxide is in so DH will pick that up today.
The newborn session yesterday didn't go well....baby was very stubborn about sleeping. So I invited my customer back for a bit this afternoon and hopefully baby is more cooperative. And I have another newborn session tomorrow!
