This looks like cycle 4 of his bounce, post-earned reduction. @-)
Patience pants are now in place and we will go the full 6 cycles before considering if we need to fatten the dose back up. We've had a pretty good drop this morning at +2, so who knows what will happen today?

Hope everyone in LL had a nice Halloween eve. It's a busy day today, so tonight we'll read all the party reports and see what kitties were dancing with lamp shades on their heads! :lol:

Good morning!! What is with the bouncy kitties today? I think I saw some frosting in Tarragon's whiskers when he got home so there must have been some contraband last night! Hope Zener clears it soon and settles into this dose. It is so frustrating when they don't. We are pros at that. We have been up and down the dosing ladder a few times in 9 months.

Thanks Linda - Zener dipped his toes in blue but not for long.

Melissa - thanks for the encouragement. Zener has been up and down around this dose, so we are going to hold for the full 6 cycles, in case of a bounce, then see where things are.

Good news, appetite is much better and he is eating more calories so we're hopeful we can stabilize his weight.

He's trying very hard to clear that bounce!! Come on Zener....get all that candy and other goodies out of your system.

Hi Anne, I thing Zener is trying like heck to clear the bounce, but with all the partying, they're paying their dues today. I hope Mr. Skunk has made no more brave appearances and stayed away. Have a nice evening.

OMG Celi - love the picture! Zener rolls over on his back for tummy rubs, but he is not much for dressing up - though green is my favorite color. :lol: :lol:

Marje - he is really working at breaking the bounce with a dip into blues and a flat yellow the rest of the cycle. :-D

Ann - we like flat yellow better than flat pink! Paws crossed we see some steady blues soon. (Dare we hope for :mrgreen: ?)

Anne: We use the 2Docs Essential Fatty Acids for Small Animals...I think that's the name. Anyway, Gracie would not eat it in her food, lick it off our fingers...nuttin. So we bought some bonito flakes which she LOVES and I just squirt it on those and nom nom nom down the hatch!!

Thanks for the info Marje. We tried on his food and in the pill pockets, his current fav, and no luck yet.

tee hee... I think green is EVERYONE's favorite color around here!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: (though, Willie and I are quite partial to purple as well....)

Nice start for Zener tonight! We use a high dose human fish oil that we mix into his homemade food recipe... 14 fish oil capsules to about 2 lb. 3 oz. of meat and organ meat (plus other supplements to make it balanced). Tried just doing one in his food one day and he wouldn't touch it. Ratio definitely matters!!

Thanks Christie! Zener is so prone to poor appetite, it's no wonder even adding a drop was turning him off. We tried with pill pockets, his fav treat, and no go there either. We're thinking about putting a drop or two on his nose and maybe he will lick it off?

Zener's numbers have been a bit lower today, and so has his appetite. Perhaps he is missing the ultra great fuds from last night's party? ;-)
He seems to be feeling pretty good today and definitely walking better lately, much more time up on his toes and walking all around the backyard without needing to stop and crouch for a rest. :-D

His numbers are slowly going down, so I'm off to bed - ni ni LL! I-) I-) I-)
