He is too low for shot so no insulin this morning. Hopefully yesterday was the anomaly and he is back on track for OTJ. It appears that his pancreas is showing up and is also a bit lazy while it is on duty  Sometimes Mr. P wants help from the juice and other times he dabbles in OTJ numbers. Today is on the high side of OTJ numbers so at least Mr.P made an appearance even if he is only dabbling in his job. I am hoping he gets back to work full time soon :!: :!: :!:

This up and down visits from Mr. P are definitely the hardest part of this process. Hopefully he had other duties for Halloween and will now be settling in at your house for awhile. :-D Wishing for lower numbers today.

On the weekend, you could give a drop at 120 and monitor carefully, steering the nadir up with food if necessary. The longer he stays in double digits, the more the pancreas heals. I know it seems scary, but you know how to handle low numbers now.

Maybe Mr. P is worried about working full time, because he doesn't know how to handle his health care benefits...

(Okay, sorry, bad joke--but I couldn't resist.)

LOL Lisa!

He ended up with .25u tonight based on a 152pmps.
He still needs insulin on occasion.
I agree Sue. I will shoot on lower numbers if I am home but not if I am at work all day. I won't shoot under 150 or so if I am going to be gone for any length of time. But, if I am home, I will shoot as low as 130ish or even lower by giving him a drop or two.
