Thanks Rhiannon, Sam and Mariko for the visits last night! I was glad that Papaya had a nice calm cycle in the PM after the fast drop to the 50s in the morning.
She's a bit higher today but I guess I can't get blue PSs all the time! This morning when I put food for second breakfast out and turned out the light, Papaya stayed next to me purring SOOOO loudly. She was very snuggly (tummy rubs, even!) despite the higher numbers today. But I had to laugh because when I stopped petting her and lay still, she decided I was asleep and it was safe to stop purring and go start eating the second breakfast. I think she was already pretty full, though, so she just ate a little of it and left the rest until I got up at 7:30. Maybe once the novelty of it being there wears off she won't think that she has to eat it right away!
