Just starting a new thread for NP today. He seems to be surfing along.

I am not at home andI have a bad memory, I can't recall what NPs +10 was I am pretty sure it was in the high 70s. Since I had to leave before I gave him his shot I pre-filled the syringe it. Five. Is that gonna be OK for tonight ? My husband is going to take his BG before his shot. Any advice?

It's not recommended to prefill the syringe. I do wonder how low he got before the +5 today. If he's able to test before feeding/ shooting and get at least a +2 then think it's fine but thinking it might be time to reduce to .5u. Do your syringes have 1/2 unit markings that he might be able to draw up a new dose instead?

Oh BTW, I gave NP a new dose at .5. He was at 66 for his PMPS. I'll be able to test at +2 and will check him overnight.

Glad you reduced. With that +2 giving him some type of surf snack is a good idea. You probably already did that though
