11/1 Neko PMPS 407

Yesterday was the second and third cycles in a row of primarily blue, with some brief yellow appearances. Today the liver got twitchy with that long string of nice numbers.

Why is it that the sound of a cat hacking up something on your bed can wake the beans from the deepest sleep? We had both cats on bed and were sound asleep after a late night of Halloween dinner partying but I knew right away it was Neko. I lunged (and missed) to try to catch whatever she was throwing up, but it was just foamy and landed on a fleece. At least the bed cover was saved. :lol:

This morning we had a loud ruckus outside, which normally would have Neko running for under the bed. The local electrical company was setting a pole anchor as our utility pole is due for replacement. But after last night's fireworks, Neko seemed pretty calm about the whole thing. They arrived after her yard patrol and she mostly slept through it all. Brave little girl!

I hope Neko comes back down for you soon. That's good she didn't get scared by the power company.

Hi Wendy, oh no with the deep sleep wake-up from Neko hacking up the hairball! :lol: Hope she's okay. I love her Zorro costume - she looks so cool in it! Hope she comes down to those nice blues.

Ewww twitchy liver. I got spoiled with a couple nice strings of blues and an unexpected plunge into greens ... and now I'm waiting for the huge bounce to show up at any moment. We'll see you up there in a bit, Neko! But get yourself down before we get there!

Yuck! I wasn't expecting that. Neko wasn't acting like she was in the 400's. About 20 minutes before test time she went over to play with her nanner, where if she is high, she is usually whining from the kitchen. Well Miss Neko, you have tonight to prove yourself, or we are taking it up tomorrow morning. It's been too long without green. No need to dive like Mags or Leo though! :lol:

@Carla - Normally Neko is scared of construction noise, but I think after last night it was tame. We had a pretty noisy neighbourhood.

@Ann - I was hoping for blues today too, which is what I normally get after a pink start. So, the threat is out there! Neko was fine from the pukus, she didn't know what all the fuss was about. No hairball, just foamy. Thanks on the costume - she's already thinking about next year!

@Lisa - Sorry about the nose, but it sounds like you can relate! :lol: I too was liking the long stretch of blues, but greens must come or else. Nice of Leo to let you sleep tonight.

It's great she had so many nice blues. I think all the Mr. Ls are plotting against us.

I hadn't thought of how quickly we jump to catch the pukus. It sure isn't any fun to roll into.... that's motivation too.

I jump if I hear the before puking hacking noise.... I had a cat once that I gave to my grandparents and they didn't hear it choking in the night.
But in that instance, she didn't have the attention we all give. I forgot to tell them about hairball remedies.


Hope this is a quick trip to that floor and back down to ... yellow? perhaps? Don't want Neko to freefall.

you are SO right about being able to detect the VERY first hack sound in a puking event! even if it's downstairs! I know our guys head for the persian rugs. sigh. i've had the bedspread at the drycleaners several time.... just did it again about a month ago and so far so good, but yeah, that intake of breath and first barf noise is better than ANY alarm clock! Sorry Neko is exploring the red floors, perhaps she's looking for Rupert and gonna show him how to take the SLOW stairs down versus the waterslide from the top of the building!
