I woke up to a 41 at +11 but I goofed and fed LC and gravy, so this is a food influenced 50....so I'm stalling. How long should I stall? I only fed at +11..nothing since. I have test strips, HC, will be here to monitor...will get another test in 5 minutes. I am planning on skinnying the dose down.

oh goodness .. I don't want to give out any shooting/stalling advice .. but I bet you were surprised to see those numbers this morning! I hope mr tinkles can come up enough where you can shoot comfortably .. have a great day guys!

Nice hooting Laurie.

For all newbies. Laurie can shoot this number because she is experienced, knows how her cat reacts to low numbers, is data ready, is home to test and has all her supplies. :mrgreen:

Thank you, Miriam, for explaining! :-D This is the lowest I have ever shot, but I feel pretty well prepared.

I fed Wellness Chicken, that usually gives Tinkles a decent food spike....added safety measure.

More experienced at low numbers, also. I'm nervous shooting a 95 :lol:

I'm awfully glad I have the data I do (being a testaholic has it's benefits :mrgreen: )

+1~70 tsp LC
+1.5~74 tsp 12%..I KNOW the drop is coming within the next half hour, trying to cushion it.
+2~56 tsp 12% + tsp HC gravy...here we go...retest in 20 min.

Yay, he's surfing nicely, but I'm keeping a close eye on his numbers! Thanks everybody...I'm very happy with this cycle so far! :-D

WOW! Look at Mr. Tinkles go! He must have had some fun last night at the party. Just and FYI - I was told to feed the 40's no matter when they are, so its good you fed the +11 this morning. I can't wait to see what Mr. Tinkles has in mind for this afternoon. :mrgreen:

+7~ 48 12% + HC gravy

Normally, Tinkles nadirs around +6-+7....today, he's diving again. Keeping me busy....another great example of why we can't get complacent when we think they are rising/surfing!

Also, at this point of the cycle, usually a little LC is enough to get him to rise. I gave him more 12% + HC gravy, he only rose 4 pts. Tinkles is usually carb sensitive.
