Sometime during the night, M brought his new orange mouse with the long tail into the bed to play. All I could feel was this object landing on my face as he kept tossing it around. Scared the jeepers out of me until I realized that It was M playing with his new toy. It made me feel good that he was playing again for a longer period of time. Actually the first time since his brother, Martin went to play on the Rainbow Bridge 2 1/2 yrs. ago. (They were very close; brothers, littermates & best friends.) Both Michael & I still miss Martin very much.
(I wish Martin would send me a sign that he is o.k.)
Just thought I would share.

Paula, Michael's looking good with a sunshine morning. Playing! Oh, wow. Isn't that just the best. (Well, aside from the early morning part!)
I've always thought that when we think about a crossed kitty it means they're near. That's why we think about them. Makes me feel good and filled with their presence when I do think of them.
I hope you and your little boy have a great weekend.

I also like Marilyn's thought. I miss punkin terribly. How great to hear Michael was playing last night!
I don't think you can go to bed just yet - even though he's been flat so far, the action of the Lantus is just beginning at +2ish. Please stay up and check him every 30-45 minutes or so for a while longer. If you can't stay awake, leave plenty of the friskies out, but if there is any way you can stay up, i sure would.
Are you still thinking of getting a timed feeder? that would be so helpful for nights like tonight.
