We are still sending prayers to Amy for power and Roni that her home will be intact and any others affected by the storm....Carla in W VA digging her way out of the snow and hoping to keep power.

Gracie decided to celebrate Halloween in style. She and Tobey came dragging in at the crack of dawn this morning. Once again, Tobey was covered in cimmamum crumbles courtesy of his most beloved Auntie Ellabean. They are both sound asleep. Now we wait to see if Lil Stinka decides to bounce today or she's still filling her depot with her new dose and will come up at the end of her cycle and then start back down when she onsets. Mamabean went btb to cuddle with Daddybean this morning and when I finally got up at +2, I could not find her anywhere. I knew she had to be in this house somewhere because there is no way for her to get out but she wasn't in any of her usual morning spots. Mike finally found her. We have a straight back recliner in the living room and underneath it, the fabric makes like a little hammock. She discovered it when she was a baby and she is still small enough to get in there although often there is a foot hanging down. Anyway..it's her "safe" place....where she goes when something REALLY scares her. So I don't know if someone was walking around our property this morning or what could have scared her like that. She's very happy and purry now, though.

I hope you all have a great day. It's gorgeous here. I have a golf lesson and the rest of the day's activities will be determined by Missy G.

Hi Marje. Looks like Gracie might have gotten a bit jealous of all the time you spent with PurrFace yesterday and decided to take a cue from him. Dropping from a 150 to a 79 then a 74. Then she gives you aN 87 just to make you think she's decided to cooperate only to fool you and come back with an 81 just to ensure she keeps her mamabean's attention. they really get you when they hide. Sometimes you gotta wonder what they're thinking.

I'm glad she Is starting to level out a bit for you and is happy and purring. Looks like you have a beautiful day to take a golf lesson. Have fun and I hope you have a pleasant and "no stress" day.

Goodness Gracie, having fun with the beans??? Well, numbers look good this morning, so keep it up. Funny on the hiding places. Every now and then we "lose" a cat and end up finding a new hiding place. I went nuts one time looking for Molly. We have a piano angled against the wall, and she squeezed herself behind it to lay in the corner. That took FOREVER to find her, but now we know...

Nice numbers for Gracie today. I hope she gets used to her new dose quickly. I hate it when they find a new hiding place. I know they can't get out of the house, but sometimes I panic for a few seconds when I can't find one of mine thinking maybe somehow they got out.

Thanks for thinking of us. I think our power will stay on now. We were lucky here and our snow has melted. It reached 50 today. Some parts of WV still have a lot of snow.

Good evening. Gracie took a very short walk on the yellow side so after my golf lesson, Mike and I went hiking until dinner time.

Looks like she has plans for me this evening. I'm hoping it's a nice, flat 70-80 green cycle. Not wanting too much, am I? :lol: :lol:

I see Gracie is having another action filled night! It is nice to see her so green again but it looks like you'll be busy tonight.

Funny story on the hiding place. My kitties are a little larger so they can't find quite as small a spot to disappear into.

Oh yes, hiding place! Ive too many cats at home, often have to look for them everywhere! Hiding is okay but worried that they might be feeling uneasy or something. Whenever they start hiding, I will be extra careful. nailbite_smile

Good morning Marje. Hey Gracie don't go too low on those green numbers. PurrFace is up the scale just a little bit, go up and say hello.

PurrFace decided to co-operate this cycle. We kind of hedged our bets by giving him a tsp of LC after testing through the night in the hopes it would keep him up until the next test. I didn't feed him after the +8.5 test because he gets his breakfast now at about the +9 mark.

I hope you were able to get some sleep last night. Two nights in a row is tough even with sleeping in between test @-) . Off to feed the critters. Have a great day.
