So I think I will be getting new insulin today for my little Chiggabutt and doing a curve this Saturday to see how things are shaking out.
 
That sounds good! Other people have used the Lantus for varying times, but the manufacturer says it is good for 28 days. It just looses it's oomph even if there are no floaties, etc..... I hope you will see some good numbers with the new stuff! :mrgreen:

ETA: Those PM cycle checks are good each night too...so keep up the good job with testing then...looking forward to seeing Chigga's curve on Saturday!
 
Was looking at your SS - love the detailed notes you keep. I was noticing you're feeding a lot of FF Medleys food - those are a little higher in carbs. Have you thought about trying something lower carb on a regular basis? Do you think that might help? I don't know how carb sensitive Chigga is. All in all, tho, I think Chigga's looking pretty good!
 
I'm going to get some different food today actually. I think she's actually pretty carb sensitive - or at least that's what I'm gathering. She did really well on Trader Joe's Tuna for cats but I would like to try something different but the grocery stores I go to only seem to carry certain brands. Not sure where to find the Wellness brand because a lot of people seem to do really well with that. So once I can find it, I may give that a go.

Hopefully this new insulin will get things kicking into gear!

Wellness isn't carried in the supermarkets. You'd have to go to either Petco or Petsmart or some of the smaller pet stores -- especially the ones that carry premium foods.
