I got to thinking maybe I should wait for the potentially higher numbers from the bread to clear before I up the dose? I'm thinking if I up the dose his numbers would be high and then could potentially drop off very quickly when the bread carbs wear off. Or will it not be so dramatic since the depot with the higher dose hasn't built up just yet? I know it's impossible to predict, but I'd rather hold off for a cycle or two if it means he'll be safer. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

That bread shouldn't stay in the system too long....

You've been at that dose for a while .... when you increase, be sure and monitor....

I'd be very surprised if Buster's numbers were going to plummet after a HC snack. (Bad kitty!!) It's entirely your call but I think his numbers look pretty stable and you should be able to increase when you decide it's time.

I was just home for lunch. I stayed a bit late and got a +5 (215) +6 (239). Not as horrible as my little crazy mind was expecting! :lol: Unfortunately, DFIL was not home so I didn't get the scoop on how much was eaten, etc. I think I will proceed with the increase tonight as planned. As Marje and Rhiannon advised, I will be extra vigilant in monitoring over the next few days.
