11/1 Apollo AMBG 133, PMBG 80

Yesterday's Condo

Good morning. Just posted Apollo's AMBG 133.

For his AM feeding gave him Fancy Feast Chicken and Tuna Feast Flaked. He ate about 75% of a 3 oz can, which is really good for him. I also added some dried tuna flakes on top and wow does he like those things! He has horrible tuna breath now, but it's so worth it if it gets him to eat more. :smile:

Tarragon really likes the FF Chicken and Tuna flaked feast. I mix it with FF Chicken classic every meal. Glad you found something he will eat.

Apollo's PMBG is 80.

Fed him Avoderm Chicken Chunks Entree in Gravy for PM feeding. He ate a decent amount.

is that a low-carb food that he had for dinner? usually anything in gravy is pretty high carb.

i'll be curious to see what his BG does tonight - if you don't know what that carb value is you might want to check him in a couple of hours and see how high he gets. if he's been eating gravy foods regularly that might explain why he's got some numbers like the ambg this morning.

usually a cat that has needed insulin has to stay on a low-carb diet permanently. maybe you've got some other situation that i'm not remembering, though, that makes thing different for apollo.

From what I read it is 9% carbs. It says gravy, but it's not gravy in the typical sense is my understanding. He seems to like chunky foods, so that was why I tried this one again as he has been having trouble eating enough of the pate styles.
