Flat cat last night. Hmmm..

I may cancel the vet appt. Not sure. Going to see how he eats today. The "pain" issue seems better? If it was panc flare I don't want to aggravate it by stressing him out by going to the vet :banghead: IDK

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. :bighug:

Not a bad start, hope he eats good this am and don’t just wish there was a way to get them to vet with no stress, Bella doesn’t mind it but Abby HATES it, dreading taking her this sunday

Sending prayers on wisdom as to whether or not to go to vet , Lizzie :bighug: I totally identify ..I take them only as a last resort .. at their age and the distance I make sure I’m not panic visiting . :nailbiting:

I agree with you, Lizzie ❤️ You made the right choice :bighug:
Thank you :bighug: He seems to be doing better. Eating better, brighter eyes, interactive, came to bed with me last night. Woke to him sleeping on me. Has met me at the door two nights in a row. By no means is he 100% but definitely better. If (big IF) it was a pancreatitis flare it was s really bad one. Hubby and I even had the PTS talk last week. He was in so much pain I was in tears all the time. I threw caution to the wind and bumped up pain meds to way over what I have ever given. He was so doped up he wobbled when he walked but it seems to have broke through the pain. No pain meds for 2 days now. No Cerenia and no Ondan for 2 days. I am giving MMR via eye dropper in the evenings.

If it was pancreatitis a stressed vet visit wasn't what he needed. I figure if things go south I can take him to the emergency hospital (where the IM that sees him). They use the same lab that reg vet uses and can do an ultra sound too. So, we are just going to trudge along and see how it goes.

It is one reason I am not pushing too hard on his BG #s. As long as he stays in the blues I am happy for now.
