I was so happy to see that 257 before work this pm.he could have gone lower later but il never know! its been a good few weeks since I saw that number.lets hope this is the start of things to come!!

what happens now though do I slow down the increases and go up by .25's from now on. what do I do?

edited to say......will I also expect a bounce now with his body not being used to this?

well . . . on the human glucometer that would barely be in the blues, like just under 200 or so. I think if he were mine, I'd go one more 4 cycle increase before I slowed down. This is still pretty high. Your goal is everything under 160 AT, nadirs around 68-100ish.

Yes, I'd expect him to bounce from this.

What a relief to finally see some progress from those pinks/reds! I agree with Julie, he's close but not quite there so another increase. And since your dose is over 5U, I'm make all changes at .5U for now. I'd save .25U changes for when you are trying to tweak green numbers down a bit.

progress indeed. its reassured me even more that hes DEFINATELY not on too much insulin!
ooo il definitely increase its just whether I wait 2 more cycles than normal. just with not knowing where hes gone this morning and I understand at the mo why were going up .5 it makes sense at such a high dose. I don't think .25 will make much difference at the mo.
