Well, coming in at +11 we're at 131...can't really be home to monitor, unfortunately. I might be able to be home by +5, but that's a bit iffy, and doesn't help if the late collides with an early onset...

Guessing unless we shoot up considerably (into the teens) in this last hour we're better off skipping?

Damn, if I was going to be home I would totally do it! Silly cat! :roll:

Suggestions appreciated...

You have the 131 in the +10 column on your spreadsheet.

What bg number would you feel comfortable shooting?

I have to log off in 6 minutes. If you stall to wait for a rise, remember not to feed.
If you are worried when you leave for work, leave out lots of bowls of food, around the house where he hangs out.

Hopefully he'll come up enough for you to feel comfortable by AMPS.

If I'm not home, I think I need to be a little in the 200s to feel comfortable, seeing as we're still in early days. I would do mid 100s if I was here to watch!

Not much stalling room either, I'm afraid. Just going to test again and see...

Okay, she's jumped a bit for +12, going to stall a bit and hopefully she'll be high enough to shoot at +13...

Partner can be home to test this morning, but he's very inexperienced, so I don't want to leave him with an unstable situation...

If you see this, can you check at +12.5? If the number on your SS is correct (i.e., 250), you're fine to shoot.

Lovely jump to 250...couldn't have asked for better! Shooting now, and partner is sending me +1 and +2. But probably would have even been okay to leave her at this level.

Great stalling data too...nice way to start out Monday!

Well, we had a little drama where my partner successfully got a +1 and a +2, then B was having no more...and poor partner got a bite instead of a BG reading at +4!

She is a difficult little thing. The joke at our vet is that we know she's feeling better when she growls/snaps at the techs. So guess this is kind of a good sign... :roll:

EDIT: It was an accidental bite, though...he just got in the way of a snap. :)

Since she was dropping kind of fast I was worried to miss the +4, though...and, so, I am apparently crazy enough to make a 2 hour round trip back and forth from work to check on her!

She is 99 at +6 so looks like all is just fine for me to do the 1 hour trip back for my afternoon meeting now. Whew!
