You and Shanga are doing great! His blood glucose numbers are stabilizing well with your Lantus doses. Has your new vet given you a different stomatitis treatment for Shanga? Hope that starts working well very soon.

Shanga's numbers are looking really good!!! I'm sure you're feeling a lot better about it now. I wish he'd get rid of this mouth thing too but sounds like you are on the road to recovery.

Hello Guys,

I feel great with the numbers but worried about mouth. I think finally steroid leaves his body so sore mouth is back...
Vet started a new treatment. I hope Im gonna see good results soon.
I am just researching every sec about what can be cure...I've found out some herbal and other medicines for animals but its impossible to find them here...
Can not believe that...
But I am hopeful. :) I believe that he will be ok again :)

Very good looking numbers for Shanga today. Since your PMPS is the lowest number you've shot so far, please be sure to get a +1 and a +2 test.

Also, can you describe how Shanga's stomatitis is being treated?

Hi Sienne and Gabby,

I will check his BG in a couple of min...
Vet gave him 2 medicine and an oral antiseptic...
I was thinking lately and remembered shanga got fleas because of the other cat and then he got chin acne then he got mouth problems.
Then I started to search about it and found out Bartonella ... I warned the vet about it ( there is no test here to check if he has or not) and she started to use Zithromax... and other drug is Famvir... the oral antiseptic is glyserin-iode...
I hope his mouth will be treated soon...

We hope that Shanga's mouth will respond to the treatment and that he is on the road to recovery. Sending lots of healing vines to him this evening. His numbers are looking very good.
