J.D. was a little slower than usual this morning. On our first walk, he didn't want to walk. I think his Bupe was a partial fur shot and I did not give him his Miralax last night and he was wanting to go poo on our walk home from my car last night, and did not go. Unless, that diarrhea in the litter box J.D. usually uses is actually J.D.'s. I was figuring it was Ginger's. I hope it wasn't J.D.'s.

We did go for a short walk on our second try.

Have to run to wash syringes and race to work.

I was giving J.D. his fluids, and must have gone through the skin as water was pouring out. I always waste so much of the fluids anyway just flushing the line before and after... I reset the needle and then saw a bunch of blood on the knuckle of my thumb and thought it must be my own as I have poked myself many times doing fluids and then realized it must be J.D.'s blood. I guess I hit a vein? I wiped his back where the needle was with a white napkin and got some blood on it, and then it quickly was no longer there.

We did go for a short walk this evening in the darkness. Thank you to Jan and Sara for sending me that squirt gun :YMHUG: Thank you very much. That stray cat was out there and saw Ginger staring at him, and when I finally saw him I aimed my little gun and squirted at him in the darkness, and he didn't bother us.

I is a tired a girl, and need to wake up again in a bit to finish the feedings for tonight, so I'm off to bed and sleep.

Tomorrow, is J.D. "actual" Birthday. I wish I had more time to spend with him. A late shift at work, and voting :roll: and sleep. If only he wanted to eat something yummy for a Birthday Treat, I would be happy.
