Monet is acting normal this morning.... waking us up to eat :lol:
His AMBG is 150 and last night it was 129.

Something odd is happening on the back of his head on same side I do the testing on his little ear. He is losing hair and a lot of it. It is NOT on his ear but back behind it. I have started putting neosporin on it but may see if Vet can look at it today.

Hope everyone has a great dat today and all kitties eat well (China) and get good numbers!

Oh and don't forget to turn back clocks tonight....an extra hour of sleep whoo hoo confused_cat

Good morning Rise Happy to hear Monet is continually doing well. You're a good mama! I wonder if the hair loss is from excessive scratching? The little needle pricks could be a bit itchy as they heal. Try putting something on the ear itself to lessen irritation.

These are good numbers but they are still within a range where Monet may need some insulin. If you take a look at the subject lines on the Board, you'll see we do shoot low numbers. Most of us get to the point where we're able to shoot numbers that are above 50 (80 on the AT). You may want to consider gradually lowering your "no shot" number.

We are delaying shooting low until we get the syringes with the 1/2 unit marking....had to order online since we could find them no where locally. The few times we used the syringes we currently to give .25 dose we felt like we were just shooting air into Monet. Since so far he is staying under 150 we were hoping to wait until the new syringes come in hopefully Monday or Tuesday .
