11/01 Biggie PMPS 136 +2.5 179

I would try 2.0.

Hi Elise, thanks for weighing in.

What do you feel are the pros/cons of going down .25 vs .5 when he has been speeding down the dosing ladder? I got 3 hours of broken sleep last night and had to feed him HC twice an hour for around two hours and then HC hourly for another two until his bg stayed constant. This was after I started the evening feeding LC hourly. And then he dropped 30+ points in an hour at +5 which I could have missed if I’d have reasonably thought 98@+4 was safe…

Once he got to around +8, still in the 60’s, I felt like the duration might be waning enough to sleep. On Sunday when he was dropping a lot, I had to add quite a bit of maple syrup to his HC to keep him up over a few hours until late in his cycle. I am worried that my exhaustion is going to make it harder for me to stay on top of his steep drops. But I don’t want to jeopardize our momentum either.

If too exhausted then go for it. He’s gone down a lot quickly in dose which is why I would do .25 but you are the one with him so do what you think best.
