The Skooter Chilled Out Cuz He Misses His Buddy Zener Condo - RIP Zener (10/7)

Today is the only day this week that I will not be able to come home and check on Skooter this week. It is national Customer Service Week and I am on the committee. They had to rearrange some things, so we have our two biggest events one right after the other today. We are doing our big lunch today and then right after that our team photo, which means no time to come home.

I will probably leave four meals out, why? Because I am a paranoid momma, that's why! Normally I leave three, but I will do an extra one around 3ish.

Our hearts are breaking for Anne, Liz and Tillie as they had to say good-bye to their beloved Zener yesterday. Looking through the messages left on his condo yesterday when they shared the news, there is no mistake what an impact that cat and those amazing mommabeans have had on everyone of Lantus Land. So sending hugs to everyone today as we all morn his loss, but especially to Anne, Liz and Tillie...

hope your day goes well, molly. i think you're smart to leave extra food! nice start to the day for skooter, too.

Zener came on FDMB not too long after we did - so they've been long timers here. Anne & Liz are incredibly generous too - i know of several times when they've sent cat food, supplies or gifts to different people. Losing a sugar cat is the worst - my heart is sure with them this morning. rb_icon

There was next to nothing left in the compartments from his meals today, including the extra one and with a PMPS 102....I am a happy momma.....knock on wood, he could have a full 24 horus in normal numbers (depending on his AMPS tomorrow)!!!! How exciting would that be?!??!?

Perhaps TMI, but funny story....realized last night I was out of toilet paper.....forgot about it until this morning.....then remembered, then I wanted to get home to check on Skooter and forgot again....so I am off quickly to get a few supplies lol I have a feeling we could be in for an interesting night! Where is my head these days?

Read more amazing posts on Zener condo and of course, cried again.....oh Zener I hope you realized how loved you were! Skooter is lookin forward to the party where he and all the other kittehs will celebrate you and all the others gone ahead.....

I'm glad leaving the extra food out worked for Skooter today. I would have done the same thing too. I hope he gives you a nice, safe surf tonight.

Great job today, Skooter! :-D :-D Yum on the extra fuds. Let's see a nice little surf tonight, no diving.
