Trixie hasn't had any Fancy Feast since yesterday's breakfast...and, interestingly, her numbers are the best they've been in a while this morning. Coincidence? Only time will tell.

Until last evening, she was eating a 50/50 mix of FF chicken classic and Merrick's BG Chicken. There was a convo over in Champ's condo on Friday that said it's possible that, due to a formula change, the FF might not be as low in carbs as it used to be. And, lately, Trix's numbers hadn't been in the usual Trixie range. Sooo, food switch again! For dinner last night and breakfast this morning, she had a 50/50 mix of Instinct Chicken and the BG chicken. Kinda interesting....
 
This is the nicest, flattest curve and the most green we've seen in a while...fingers crossed the food switch has done the trick.
 
Lovely cycle! I tried to switch Smokey onto either Merrek or Evo and he didn't want anything to do with it- it's FF or nuttin for him! Glad Trixie seems to be doing better without the FF.... :-D
 
Hi Amy, that's very interesting with the change in food and the great cycle today. I'm going to flag Champ's condo with the links. I've seen the Instinct Chicken at Petco and thought about trying it. Most of the FF, except Seafood Feast, do seem to raise Mag's bg. Thanks for posting your results and scritches to Trixie.
 
Thanks, Ann! I'm pleasantly surprised so far, but it has only been one day. Only time will tell for sure...but hopefully we're on the right track (once again :lol: !)
 
Super day for Trixie. I hope it was all about the foods and now you have her back on track!!!
