Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty has a toe in the lagoon this morning--not bad considering last night's party! He reported on it in the Full Moon condo.
We all had a good night. It got cold (38 degrees this morning in our backyard). We all snuggled under the covers. Rusty ate his nighttime food, napped this morning (while I was baking cimmamum cookies for the Holiday Weekend festivities--paddle and picnic on Monday), woke up and didn't know where we were and howled. So I gave him a combing, set out his breakfast bowl in the livingroom, and he ate a bit. I'm about to go back to check on him. Interesting how he forgets to eat and then discovers that his food is there!

Lots to do today. My sister is coming tomorrow for the weekend and the Columbus Day paddle and picnic. On Sat. we are all going to the Met in HD at the Center for the Arts in Lake Placid. (Verdi's "Macbeth").

Off to the post office now. Thinking of Liz and Anne and hoping that they and Tillie are doing OK.

It's so sweet when they come crying for us and we are just on the other side of a door. Beans shold always be within kitteh sight lines!

Nice start today Rusty, Tess is still deciding if she will join you or not.

Yes, that was a wild party last night. Zener and we are honored by everyone's sweet thoughts. :-D :-D Stay warm! I hope you have good weather for the paddle and the leaves are spectacular. Looking good, Rusty, but turn it around, the lagoon is the other way.

Good evening, friends,

So Rusty decided to take a rest day. The weather was cold and blustery with intermittent rain. A good day to spend sleeping, as any cat knows. The beans, on the other hand, had a full day of shopping and cooking. Never did get to the cimmamum cookies (I need Tobey here to help!) and they will have to be baked tomorrow morning. I did make a lasagna for Saturday evening, when my sister and some friends will be here for dinner after the opera. I'm glad I made it today!!

Hey Rusty, you sure can throw a good party! Lots of kitties seem to be to tired to hit the lagoon today. Cinco made it right to the water's edge, then plopped down and refused to go any further! Hopefully they'll all be more rested and ready to swim tonight!

Sounds like you have a busy but fun weekend coming up, Ella. Sending good weather vines for your picnic and paddle!
 
Looking lovely tonight, Rusty! Sorry you didn't get to the cimmamum cookies...sounds like they are perfect for that kind of weather! Hope you have a wonderful weekend with your sister and Verdi! ;-)

Sorry I missed you yesterday. you have been busy! Lots to do, lots coming up too. How wodnerful that your sister will be coming to join you for the paddle. I sure hope you have good weather.

It looks like that after a resting day Rusty got down to business. Like that green Rusty. You surf well today too, 'K?

Love the howling when he didn't know where you were. BJ used to do that. She couldn't see us and would let out this loud below. :lol: I'd call to her and she'd stop, come and find us. silly cat. We alwyas had to be within in sight range. ;-)

Cimmamum cookies? where is that Tobey... paw Prints Pizza thought maybe you could use on of their cimmamum pizzas....
