Nice blues for Oscar today. How is he acting Kelly? Have you seen him meatloafing anymore?
Hope he is feeling better now...hoping your vet calls today....

No meatloafing as of yet. He is currently sleeping at the top of his cat tree! Vet office is closed today (of course the one weekend that I want them to be open as usual!) so I won't hear anything until Monday.

A few people have posted insight on my blood work thread in health. It looks like the HCT and MCHC values may be off due to not enough blood available to put in the test tube at the lab. But that doesn't change the fact that the smear showed an abnormally high amount of undersized and oversized RBCs. So not as panicked as before, but still worried!

I asked that the other day Celi, hence the pictorial lessons. It's just when they sit like Oscar is in the picture. I guess a lot of cats do it when they're not feeling well (i thought mine were special :lol: )

Oscar's little eyes in that photo sure like he's not feeling good. poor guy. hurts my heart. sitting in the top of the treehouse sounds good tho. hope you guys have a good day today.

Yea, that pic was prior to the gland expression we did this week. He is actually in that position right now, but his eyes are bright and he is alert. The position doesn't always indicate they don't feel well. Just when it is accompanied by the look of "I don't feel well"

Thanks for the pic, Kelly...he really looks miserable in that photo! No detective work needed there....great example. Glad he isn't looking like that anymore! I'm no help on the BW, but I did read the thread, and it prompted me to ask my vet for a copy of Tinkles' BW from his dx visit....good to have!

Numbers look good, he's starting that slide down at the end of the cycle again....predicting green PMPS again tonight! :mrgreen: I'm so happy to see him out of the steady yellows from the past! :-D

The great Laurie has spoken and now it shall be! LOL I expect a green pmps too :lol:

I am really glad that he doesn't have that look anymore too. It seemed to disappear once we had his anal glands expressed this past Tuesday. So I guess he gets the deed done at the vets every couple of months now - sorry buddy!
