Last condo

Well, I am not really sure if Mandarin is indeed ready for this reduction, but in light of his AMPS, I decided to take him down to 0.1 U. Technically, he earned it - three drops below 50 on this dose. However, the first of those drops was almost a month ago and we have seen plenty of high blues since then.

Meanwhile, Walter was finally heading back down yesterday, but a few generous helpings of HC food for everyone probably ruined that progress for now.

....and despite an extra cup of coffee this morning, I am barely awake. Nothing like staying up until 3 am on a Sunday night. It's going to be a long week....

Hopefully the reducie will help flatten Mandarin out and not keep you up all night. His SS shows .75u for the PM dose instead of .25 Glad Walter also got to enjoy some HC treats too Extra scritches for all your babies and hope you can get some rest soon.

...and it was a long day at work and I still have a bunch of student e-mails that I need to respond to. I think it'll be an early night though... and I sure hope that the boys will let me sleep.

201 and by +2.5, he had already dropped to 182. And for as much as I want him to make it to the lagoon, the thought of another pj party is just not all that appealing.

Christina: how do you measure 0.1 U (do you use calipers?) and what brand of syringe do you use? That's Rusty's present dose, too, and I have a really hard time measuring it on Monoject syringes because of the problem of insulin hiding in the "cone".
Any tips?
